I heard something on TV today which made so, so, so much sense.
“Remember, it’s not going to work if you don’t use it.”
Coincidentally, I was chatting with someone who was sharing with me how an associate of his told him that his job title should not be an “assistant” because he has a degree.
Hmmm… I was like how is that relevant? Having a degree doesn’t grant you an “Executive” title automatically on your first job.
It’s your job objective that is relevant. How you performed on the job is relevant. The value that you can bring to the company is relevant.
Your degree is qualifications, yes. It comprises knowledge you had acquired from an education institution.
But if you don’t use it properly, then it’s not going to work.
