We started Sports Day in 2019. The Red House emerged as the champion that year. And the year after. And the year after that. Yes. For 3 years in a row, Red was the champion.
So the pressure was high this year.
I remember the first tele-match game. We came in last. In the second game, we also finished last. It was bad.
But it was okay. Because it’s not how we start the race. It’s how we end the race, right? So we continued to fight till the very last game and gave our best.
Well, we did not manage to maintain our winning streak. When the emcee announced we were the 2nd runner up, I remember, I cheered so loud anyways. All of us did!
And when the Purple House was announced as the champion, we cheered even louder. Because that is good sportsmanship.
