I think it’s important.
There are so many times I was so rash in making decisions that I regret them later. You know, just like that old saying, “Marry in haste, repent in leisure.”
So recently when I am interviewing candidates, I do take the time to understand what they really want and looking forward to in their next career move, especially those who are not able to stay more than 2 years in their last 3 jobs. For I want them to be able to stick to the next job longer for I also believe that old saying, “A rolling stone will never gather moss.”
It’s good to be picky sometimes. It’s good to think things through sometimes.
But also don’t think for too long, because the other old saying is also true that “Time and tide will wait for no man.”
The clock is ticking.
