Joan Rivers said, “Part of my act is meant to shake you up. It looks like I’m being funny, but I’m reminding you of other things. Life is tough, darling. Life is hard. And we better laugh at everything, otherwise we’re going straight down the tube.”
She is right. Having a good sense of humour is so important to cope with life nowadays. Though the pandemic is over, life is not getting easier either.
Overpopulation. Global warming. Sustainability. Corruption. Inflation. Recession. Snowflakes.
So pause for a moment. And look for the funny (and bright) side of life. Even when you need to work this public holiday to put food on the table.
