This is Julia. She is currently our Talent Acquisition person. And this was how I recruited her.
She read an article written by our Country Head in the media, “5 Reasons Why A Recruitment Career Is Worth your Consideration”. Influenced by the article, she then decided to put forward her application to us via email.
In her cover email, you can tell that she did put some thoughts in it, definitely not a copy & paste, which I appreciated. She made reference to the article that we had published, how it had influenced her to apply for the role specifically. She also wrote a summary on how her experience would be able to add value to our business.
So I picked up the phone and called her. Coincidentally, she was also an avid follower of mine so we had a good conversation about social media recruiting that day. One conversation led to another and to another, I ended up hiring her.
And I must say, she has been quite a good addition to my team.
