This is Edison & Ai Ling from our Executive Search arm, together with me and Irene from HR.
Both of our departments are very busy all the time, hence we rarely have the time to catch up with each other, let alone get to know each other. So today I want to express my appreciation in return to them for taking the time and effort to bring me and Irene out for lunch to say thank you to the both of us for supporting their team throughout the years (they joined us during the pandemic era).
It’s such a wonderful feeling, you know, being appreciated. It does bring a sense of validation and recognition for the work and effort we have put into the job. It can also bring this sense of belonging for being valued as part of the team. Satisfying, motivating and almost magical at the same time, if you get what I mean.
Happy weekend everybody. Time is passing by fast indeed. Go out, appreciate the people around you and bring them smiles, especially with Valentine just around the corner!
