I often hear from people, feeling helpless, that their company doesn’t invest in their learning. Even with HRDC funds available, it seems the same individuals are repeatedly sent to training. This concern has even been echoed by the management team in HRDC.
Victimising ourselves can only take us so far. I’ve been there many times, and it has never led to anything positive.
Now, with more then 25,000 training courses available for free, there are really no more excuses not to pursue learning, whether it’s through physical or online classes. Honestly, twenty-five thousand is an overwhelming number, and it’s easy to get lost in so many choices. But hey, the opportunity is right there.
Just like what Maya Angelous said, “If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, then change your attitude.”
