After leaving the corporate world last year, I thought I’d never see the light of an annual dinner again. Just a few months ago, I saw pictures pop up on my social media feed – all my ex-colleagues were having a blast at their annual dinner and dance. For the first time in 20 years, I felt a bit left out, not being part of this big camaraderie-filled party.
Win or lose, tonight I’m going to enjoy my version of an annual dinner with other fellow content creators. And this time, I don’t even have to organise it or have duties as the floor manager!
I picked out a dress with friends, hired a makeup artist for my hair and makeup, and all geared up to party tonight!
