Yesterday morning, I attended the Sesi Dialog Belanjawan 2024: Memperkasa Bakat Wanita with Ministry of Finance (MOF) and Ministry of Human Resources (KESUMA).
While sitting in the audience, listening to our Minster of Human Resources, Steven Sim, address the concerns of the rakyat, I couldn’t help it but think of the internet’s favourite daddy, Pedro Pascal.
His tone was nurturing, he called people by their names and remembered their queries in details, jotting down notes on four pages of foolscap paper. He kept his answer brief, supported by past research data, action plans, and/or his own experience.
Is your leader this nurturing when they address you in a townhall? He also reminded my ex-boss who had a similar style (coincidentally, both gentlemen shares the same last name).

Anyway, he was also very friendly, taking picture with everybody who asked. So here’s mine with Daddy KESUMA.
