Before the plane take off, there will be a safety briefing: “You need to put your oxygen mask on first before helping others.”

When I was younger, I couldn’t understand why. Isn’t that selfish? Shouldn’t we help others first?

But now I am older, I get it. It’s not about being selfish but we will not have a chance to help others breathe if we are not breathing first.

So remember to breathe first, my friends.

Survive so you can help others to survive too.
