On 27th June 2021 night, we received a distressed call that my husband’s late sister was hospitalized.
The next day we had to drive back to Alor Setar and not knowing what was her condition, I couldn’t estimate how long I need to stay in Alor Setar.
So I packed all my working equipment to go. Upon arrival, I found a cozy corner to set up my working station. I am truly grateful with the Internet and also the fact that my company invested in the right software solutions that had allowed me to work from home regardless home is at Serdang or Alor Setar.
And you know what else the Internet did for me so well this pandemic? Entertainment. Netflix, Disney+, AstroGo, AppleTV, YouTube, TikTok all that. I also learnt to edit videos watching tutorials online, discovered new mobile games, made new chatting friends online among others that helped time to pass by easily while I am stuck at home.
You guys have a good weekend now. More importantly have a safe weekend. Cases are at an all-time high now. Stay at home as much as you can. Also if you have not tell your loved ones that they are important to you, do it too while we still can. I’m sure they are just one WhatsApp call away.
