Like all muscles, we need to exercise our brain in order to strengthen it. Besides biographies & encyclopedias, this is the other type of books I love to buy – activity books. When I was younger, I love to do crossword & sudoku puzzles in newspapers and magazines. I also love solving riddles & math problems and simple activities like connecting dot-to-dot. At this age, not only I still find it fun, It’s therapeutic too. I know there are a lot of apps on phones these days that has such games, but it still doesn’t beat the joy of scribbling the activity book with color pens.
Have a safe weekend now everybody. I’ve just read the news that today onwards we can dine-in and pasar malam is going to open up again. It actually gave a me a chill down my spine.
And of course, I am going to end my post today with one of my all time favorite riddles from this book called ‘Son of my Father’ for you to solve:
A father and his young son are on a long train journey and the boy’s father goes to the buffet car to buy them some sandwiches. He has their tickets in his wallet. While he is gone, a ticket inspector and a police officer come walking through through the carriage. The boy has nothing to show them, but the police officer says to the ticket inspector, “Don’t worry, this boy is my son.” How can that be true?
