Like most companies, we are also not spared from Covid-19. Every time a case is reported, the HR team will drop everything and start to contact trace.
We will interview the people and send all close contacts to pack and leave the office immediately. All common areas, their working desks and surrounding areas will be sanitized. We will also send all of them to be tested and have them quarantined & monitored their status on a daily basis. It’s really a lot of work but very necessary to keep the workplace safe.
Since FMCO, all of us are working from home, so the containment process now is easier for us. However it’s still a lot of work too for them at home especially for those who stay with old folks and young kids.
The virus is highly contagious, and with the delta variant, its even more dangerous, so acting with urgency is the utmost importance.
We also have employees who have completed their vaccination and still got infected. Albeit the symptoms is much milder, vaxxed or not vaxxed, following safety SOPs is still very important. Really, don’t take things for granted.
You all have a safe weekend now. Remember to stay alive because are very important to the people who loves you.
And if you are not vaccinated, really, do reconsider it. If not for yourself, then for the people around you.
