Joy is…
… seeing the petty cash numbers balanced with my buku 555 records.
… receiving a random thank you note from a colleague for appreciating my presence.
… finishing and submitting a complicated report on time.
… learning the employees have recovered from Covid-19 without complications.
… hitting the 80% mark of our internal employees fully vaccinated.
… obtaining visa approvals for our expats finally.
… finishing reading and replying all emails for the day (Inbox is no more in bold).
… celebrating I have survived another week at work.
Joy is when we allow ourselves to celebrate all these small little wins in our lives.
And of course, joy is also all about giving, like how Mother Theresa said it best, “Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls.”
Happy weekend everybody. I know all of us are eager to go out again with all the relaxations happening. Remember to follow safety SOPs diligently & avoid crowded places. For if our lungs got caught in the net of virus, that my friends, I can guarantee you, brings no joy.
