When I was young I do love to read books. Especially encyclopedias. I find all these general knowledge fascinating. Like, did you know the human soul weighs 21g?
But like most, as technology advanced, my love for reading books got distracted. Because there are so many ways to learn now besides from a book. It’s all about the contents & contents are reaching their audiences in so many ways of mediums and platforms now.
Anyways, yesterday I walked into MyTown’s Book Xcess bookstore. It was such a delight to be there. And I thought how they designed the bookstore is really clever. Very yuppy that it does make reading books looking cool again. I saw a lot of people like me, taking pictures and videos of the place to be posted in social media. So, so clever.
I like how creative the space is designed. Mixing the old with the new. Catering to the young and the old. Even how they place their books is very strategic. They did put a lot of thought when they designed this place.
It was truly a good customer experience exploring the place.
