I do have a lot of regrets in my life.
What could have been. What should have been.
And I will always remember this one. I was given a chance to audition for a TV show as a host once before. I chickened out.
I never got that chance again to audition… what if I did… maybe I wouldn’t be successful anyways, or maybe I would be. Now we will never know.
Anyways, one thing I have learnt from that lesson was, when I was given the chance, I never prepared for it. Hence I didn’t have the confidence, hence I chickened out. Padan muka.
It reminded me of the story of Rihanna somehow. When she was invited to go to the states to record demo tapes, she was so ready. Because she has been training for that moment and when the opportunity came, she took it like champ! And the rest as they say is history.
