You know when you break up with someone via email or via text, it’s frowned upon.
To me it’s the same about resigning.
The brave way to do it is to speak your boss face-to-face (though in today’s context it could be via a call).
I mean, an employer-employee relationship, bitter or sweet, should still be a valuable relationship, right? Because like how the saying goes, don’t burn your bridges.
Do it in person to show courtesy, It’s good manners. And who knows, paths might cross again in the future and when that time does come, it be nice to see that bridge to cross over again.
