When the flood happened, few of our employees texted me. They asked, “Is there anything I can do to help? I want to help, please.”
They even said please. I was so touched. And I noticed these employees who asked are those who had progressed very well in the career. Not only the flood, many times in various projects, they had raised their hand to volunteer as well.
From my experience, not everybody will go for the extra mile. So many times I have heard people saying, “This is not my job, why should I help you?”
Well, to those people, all I have to say is good luck in your career, man. For you will definitely need it. Like a lot of it.
