Hmmmm… what motivates me?
Achievement – I love winning. So I venture into projects to continue to challenge myself to achieve.
Power – Naturally bossy, I am. So I worked my way up so I have the opportunity to direct others.
Affiliation – Also social butterfly I am. I love to connect. And being in the people business is oh-so-perfect for me.
Autonomy – I do have strong principles. And I am very blessed to have bosses who (almost always) believes in what I believe too in my executions.
Esteem – I do crave recognition & praises. Shamelessly admitting that. Especially from the people I work with.
Security – Very important for breadwinners like me. That I will be paid on time every time.
Well, Zig Zaglar said “Of course motivation is not permanent. But then, neither is bathing. But it is something you should do on a regular basis.”
So, motivate, motivate, motivate.
