Yesterday, when I was away from work, I wrote in my out of office auto reply that we should appreciate the little things in life.
Today, I had the privilege to attend Eurocham Malaysia’s 29th Annual General Meeting and met the team who organized the event.
One of them told me she read my OOO when she sent me the reminder email for today’s event and loved it. It was a compliment on something little but I so appreciated it.
Then, I took this picture with them. And when I was looking at the picture…
I see women coming together supporting one another at the workplace.
I see Malaysians with different backgrounds united to drive the country’s economy.
I see cheerful smiles, brighten up by the beautiful sunlight.
The little things we missed out sometimes.
But it’s important. Because just like how novelist Jefferey Deaver said, “It’s a tough life, and it’s the little things that get us through the day.”
