This is Irene. She is my HR & Admin Manager.
You know, she didn’t start her career in HR. She started out as a sales consultant in a different industry altogether. In fact, Irene is also another Diploma holder. And she didn’t major in HR!
But… Irene is very hardworking. She is super enthusiastic when it comes to learning new things. So when we recruited her in April 2008, she did not mind taking a pay cut & starting from the bottom all over again as a Staffing Consultant to learn HR.
And today, all that hard work paid off for she is not only a HR & Admin Manager but a successful HR & Admin Manager.
So, yes. If you have the heart to pursue your dream, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have the right paper qualification or experience. If you are willing to start from the beginning again and work hard enough, you will get there.
And Irene will be the first one to tell you, it can be done.
