Argentina vs. Netherlands World Cup 2022 Quarter Finals. That was another roller coaster ride.
1st half, on 35th minute Argentina’s Molina scored. 1-0. Confidence is building.
2nd half, on 73rd minute Argentina’s Messi scored. 2-0. Confidence is building stronger.
Well… as long as the race is not finished, there is no time nor space to be cocky. Because… the other team is not giving up!
With just less than 20 minutes left, Netherlands’ determination shattered Argentina’s confidence when Weghorst scored not one but two goals on minute 83 and 101! 2-2!
What a match! Well… last-last Argentina won 4-3 on penalties.
But to the Dutch! Good game!! Sometimes in life, when we really tried & fought till the end, when we lose, it’s truly painful. But it’s okay. Really. Because we tried. Esp when going against a 2-time World Cup Champion, right?
Anyways, the whole excitement somehow reminded me of this video I shared with my viewers the other day. Don’t quit without trying.
