The story tells the Lion who had been badly hurt by the horns of a Goat, which he was eating. The Lion was so angry that he banned all horned animals from his kingdom. The Hare looked at his own shadow & saw his long, pointed ears looked like horns, decided to leave the kingdom, ending his long-term friendship with the Lion.
The Hare was so focused on his own insecurities and fears that he blinded himself of what he was worth.
It’s like how we are sometimes at work, I feel. We are so paranoid about losing our job, we may become so focused on protecting ourselves that we begin to make decisions that are not in the best interest of the company nor our own self.
Communication is so important. It’s important to seek clarification instead of being paranoid. Paranoia can cause us to jump to conclusions or make assumptions that are not based on facts. This can lead to misunderstandings and can ultimately damage relationships, both personally and professionally, don’t you think?
Gong Hey Fatty Choy, everybody! To end this post, this is a bunny joke I read from the internet:
What did the bunny say to the carrot?
“It’s been nice gnawing you!”
