This is Jeik & Apryl. Jeik is from the local finance team and Apryl is from the regional finance team. Both whom I had worked with for a very, very long time.
Finance is no doubt one of the most important department in the company. They play crucial roles like financial planning, budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, risk management and of course tax compliance! They are also the experts in analysing financial data and their eye for details in spotting errors amazes me everytime.
Finance work is always super demanding. That is why these 2 ladies are also 2 of the most hardworking colleagues I’ve worked with. Very often I see them staying back till late nights to work on our complex books like financial super heroes chasing deadlines, especially during closing period.
However, during lunch both of them had taught me this – no matter how busy, it’s important to take time off. You can work hard but never neglect our own needs too. So we can continue to live through and end the day with a smile just like this picture during lunch =D
