Today I went to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Did you know if you go to a show before 12pm at the GSC Premiere Class cinema at MyTown, the ticket is just RM18 per person and the seat is so, so comfortable.
Anyways, sitting next to our row was a family of four. An elderly couple with 2 young adult daughters. I said to them, “So nice your daughter teman you 2 come watch movie.” Then the daughters quickly quipped, giggling, “It’s actually they came to teman us 2 watch movie hehe….”
Aiyo, so cute. And so heartwarming.
You see, it can be all too easy to get caught up in demands of our job in this competitive world and forget to take time out for ourselves. Spending time with family, especially if we are lucky to still have our parents around and available to spend time with us on weekends, is a good reminder of what’s truly important in life so we can put our work into perspective, if it makes sense.
So important to find ways to balance our work and personal life before we go crazy. Our well-being always come first. Don’t risk burnout.
