It’s a beautiful Sunday and this picture I took when I was on call with the project team, working, this morning.
There is a very tight project deadline we need to meet so a bunch of us logged onto a call this morning to finalize the project details before submitting it to the client. I am sure some of you have “been there done that” before =D
Yes, it can be stressful to work on a rest day but I also cannot help it but feel this sense of ‘adrenaline rush’ in me when I am chasing these deadlines with the team together. The feeling be like, “By taking responsibility for my decisions and actions, I can empower myself to take charge of my work and accomplish my goals!!”
Before I logged off the call, I was telling everybody, “After this I am going to post this story on LinkedIn about all of us working on a Sundaaaaay!” Then, everybody started giggling.
Well, over the years I’ve learnt, rain or shine, it’s very important to keep a positive mindset and a good sense of humour especially during stressful times like this to help me to stay motivated and focused.
So, chin up, smile & stay hopeful!
