If the work is not part of our job description, if we have the capacity to help out a colleague who is feeling overwhelmed, we help.
If the new guy hired is at a higher position, we welcome him the same and help him to get up to speed with the company’s procedures & policies even if it’s not our direct responsibility to do so.
If the mistake was not made by us, if we have the knowledge & experience to fix it, we grab the opportunity to save the day and standout.
If we have different opinions, we listen first to see if we can learn something (new) from it. Otherwise ultimately, we can just agree to disagree.
If the boss/colleague/client/vendor is behaving like a grumpy gorilla on hot coals, we shall resist from participating in the monkey business. Keep our manners intact & don’t go bananas!
