Dear Recruiters,
I understand that it’s not you who doesn’t want to provide closures to candidates. It’s often the clients. The indecisive hiring managers leave job orders hanging, causing an unfortunate domino effect that leaves candidates in limbo, experiencing unnecessary stress and disappointment.
So, you choose the easy way out. You turn into a ghost and hope to disappear quietly.
Here’s what I’ve learned over the years. Educate your clients. Explain to them the importance of being fair and decisive. If they cannot decide within two weeks, it’s best to release the candidate. People cannot wait indefinitely as we go back and forth.
Tak akan maju like that.
Progress is important. Once a decision is made, we move forward. Work even more diligently to find the deserving candidate another opportunity with a boss who values them.
