Lazy Leadership

1. When it’s performance appraisal time, we just tick boxes instead of having a real conversation and giving genuine, constructive feedback. Because, well, it’s the same every year anyway.

2. Handing tasks to the team with no guidance, and when it falls apart, we say, “lack of ownership, so unresourceful.” The team, not us.

3. Throwing around buzzwords like “synergy” and “innovation”, but without any strategy for the team to follow, hoping fancy word will magically inspire them to figure it out 😁

4. Always the first to point out mistakes. Because we are just that detail-oriented.

5. Tossing out a generic “good job” every few weeks to keep them motivated. Who needs details on what they did well, right? They know best themselves.

6. Offering flashy perks instead of building a culture where the team feels valued. Like free coffee will replace real leadership 🙄

7. Implementing quick fixes on symptoms. Because digging deeper to address the root cause is just too much effort dei.

Remember, lazy leadership creates lazy teams. So, either we step up or we step aside. Thank you.
