When I first started going on podcast interviews, I was terrible. I had zero experience, and honestly, it showed. But I didn’t give up. For a whole year, I kept saying yes to every interview and practiced until I got better.
A few days ago, I switched roles – I was the one interviewing a guest for my new show on YouTube. And let me tell you…. I was terrible again! It felt like dejavu reminding me of my first interview as a guest a year ago. It’s like starting all over again.
For my first guest, I chose Victor. I knew I was going to stumble, but I also knew he’d be game to experiment with me. He even agreed to dress up as Count Dracula! 🧛♂️❤️
As expected, it was not as easy as it looked. In fact, it was really hard! But I’m not giving up. I’ll keep practicing because I know that’s how I’ll get better.
So, to anyone out there thinking of starting something new, it’s okay to be terrible at the beginning. Keep going. It’s just all part of the process 💪
