#AAA Day 5: “Should HR send everyone’s attendance (pdf) through email and request them to verify it?”

Well, there is no law that requires HR to do so. And honestly, I’m puzzled with the intention behind this question.

HR is a very busy department. We don’t normally pull out biometric attendance record without a reason. The only times HR might extract the attendance report are usually:
• To gather evidence for disciplinary action
• To verify hours for overtime payment calculation

In either case, if you’re not satisfied with HR’s action, you have the right to challenge it by requesting to view the attendance record as evidence.

But generally speaking, no. I don’t think it’s necessary for HR to email everyone their attendance reports. It’s not an efficient use of time or resources.

Gitu.

Happy weekend, everybody! Ever since I was a young adult, I’ve always wanted to go to the Rainforest Music Festival in Sarawak. Tonight, I finally get to go! So excited about it!!

If you happen to be there too, semoga ada jodoh to jumpa!
