Well, there is no law that requires HR to do so. And honestly, I’m puzzled with the intention behind this question.
HR is a very busy department. We don’t normally pull out biometric attendance record without a reason. The only times HR might extract the attendance report are usually:
• To gather evidence for disciplinary action
• To verify hours for overtime payment calculation
In either case, if you’re not satisfied with HR’s action, you have the right to challenge it by requesting to view the attendance record as evidence.
But generally speaking, no. I don’t think it’s necessary for HR to email everyone their attendance reports. It’s not an efficient use of time or resources.
