Taking a career break, especially after the pandemic, is so common now that it isn’t as dramatic as many people think.
If you took a break because you were burnt out, say so.
If you wanted to care for your parents or children, say so.
If you wanted to focus on your health, say so.
Just tell the truth.
It should be enough.
