One my worst experience in managing a project was one providing production operators for a food manufacturer.
We didn’t have the experience. No proper research was done. We missed a lot of critical details especially in costing.
I remember almost every other day we got a beating from the client from the day the project was implenented. Eventually, it got so bad, we decided to exit the project.
It was a very valuable experience for me and an expensive one for the company. So I had to make it worthwhile.
My boss and I studied and scrutinized all the mistakes we made post mortem. We have to. So we learn & be better the next time around.
