Last night, I had some quality time with 2 of my oldest friends from primary school.
When Penny smiled & laughed, I saw the crow feet at the corner of her eye. With my fetish with wrinkles, I couldn’t help it & told her, “Your crow feet wrinkles are so charming.”
Then when I looked at Mandy, I said, “Those freckles too, actually.”
Mandy rolled her eyes to the back of her head.
I continued, “You know they do sell freckle pencils to create that naturally charming look you have.”
Then Penny said to me, “You really can see the good in negativity.”
Well, in imperfections you will see perfection. And in perfections, you will see imperfection.
Just like our feelings, how we want to see things, is always a choice. Imperfectly perfect. Perfectly imperfect.
Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.
Whatever I choose to see, I just make sure it works for me.
Embrace your imperfections. Learn from them. Accept they are/can be perfections too.
Then, we move forth being imperfectly perfect.
