This is Brian, Chew & Haida.
Who is the Managing Director, the Finance Director & the Operations Director. They are some of my favourite people/bosses that I am working with right now.
I took this picture yesterday when after a very long time, we finally managed to go out to lunch & lou sang together in a restaurant. Reviewing the pic on my phone, I said “Later should take another one-lah, muka macam dulang sikit we all.”
Haida then said, “It’s okay jer, Ling. Let’s be real about it.”
And that is what I like about working with them. We are so real to each other, we do bantai each other (sometimes only okay) in meetings. We fight, we argue, we take different sides but….. when the argument is over, we will remember to stop fighting, make up and come back together on the same side.
I find that very important. To be able to express our feelings and opinions honestly to each other without the fear of the other person will hold grudges against us. This reminded me a saying from Warren Buffet. He said, “Honesty is a very expensive gift. Don’t expect it from cheap people.”
And we, are definitely not cheap =}
