Yesterday, for the 3rd consecutive year, because of Covid-19, we had chosen to be safe & had our Annual Celebration virtually.
Now, a virtual event like that could never be as fun as an actual physical Annual Dinner & Dance event. But it doesn’t need to be boring either.
In a virtual celebration event, besides having a host who is engaging, what is just as important is the audience’s participation. Like how my Finance Director would always remind me, “It takes two to tango.”
So this Saturday, I want to extend my gratitude to leaders like YouMe, Brian & Shima-san for being such great sports in yesterday’s event.
My heart also goes out to all my colleagues who joined us celebrating with such great, infectious energy. It was indeed so nice to see, though virtual, people came dressed up for the event, unmuted & cheered.
And… this was me. The theme was Famous & Fabolous and this is as close as I could get to being the Famous & Fabolous Princess Fiona from the movie Shrek.
