The Hares & The Lion

Well, in this bunny story of Aesop’s, the Hares were arguing that all should be treated equal. The Lion then replied, “Your words, O Hares! are good; but they lack both claws and teeth such as we have.”

The Lion is not wrong. In this fable, it teaches that strong speech, unless it is also supported by strength, is ridiculed by the more powerful. This reminded me of how it’s the same at some workplace where the Hares are the employees and the Lions are the employers.

Talk, is always cheap.

If you want respect, then earn it. If you say you will do it, then get it done. If you want to be treated as an equal, then show the Lion that you deserve a seat on the table with undeniable results.
