Today, I want to express my gratitude to Sinar Harian journalist, Aisyah Basaruddin for capturing my points so well while I was speaking on stage at Wacana Rakyat 489 at Strand Mall on Saturday.
With LINDUNG 24 Jam, protection extends beyond traditional working hours, including accidents that can happen while working from home.
One point I raised was that HR should not be too quick to decide whether an accident is claimable or not. Let PERKESO assess the claim.
Employers and employees also need to understand what this expanded protection actually means, especially for employees who previously opted out and may now want to reconsider after understanding what they are protected against and what they may be giving up.
